BTS’ Suga shares first health update after testing COVID-19 positive: I’m really okay, don’t worry – Times of India
According to BTS Weverse translation, Suga wrote, “I’m really okay (smiling face emojis) Please don’t worry too much!”
On December 24, Suga contracted the virus after he returned to South Korea from the US right before Christmas. He had returned after wrapping up BTS’s ‘Permission To Dance on stage’ in LA.
While Suga who is asymptomatic for the virus, remained in the isolation centre, only a day after their agency confirmed about other members RM and Jin testing positive.
The official statement read, “Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. BTS members RM and Jin were diagnosed with COVID-19 on the evening of Saturday, December 25.”
After returning on Friday the 17th from the United States following his personal schedule as part of his official vacation period, RM reportedly underwent PCR testing, was found negative and entered into self-quarantine in his home as mandated by COVID-19 control procedures. However, he underwent another PCR test later prior to his scheduled release from quarantine and was found to be positive for COVID-19; he is currently exhibiting no particular symptoms, much like Suga.
On the other hand, Jin who returned to Korea on December 6, took the PCR testing immediately after his return and again before his release from self-quarantine, and was found negative on both occasions. However, after experiencing flu-like symptoms later he underwent PCR testing and was found positive for COVID-19 later in the evening. He is down with mild symptoms as per reports.
