Brazil press officer left journalists shocked as he manhandled a cat that disturbed Vincius Jr’s press conference.
The Real Madrid forward was answering questions from the media ahead of their quarter-final clash with Croatia, when a cat jumped onto the table.
The cat wandered across the table to an unnamed official, who was sat next to the 22-year-old, while he was conducting his press conference.

The team official appeared to scratch the cat’s head before grabbing it and throwing it off the table, leaving the reporters in attendance gasping in shock.
Despite the gasps, the official shrugged his shoulders, and quickly asked for the next question from the media while Vincius Jr laughed it off while the media talked amongst themselves before proceeding with the rest of the press conference.
Vincius Jr was quizzed about the impact both Real boss Carlo Ancelotti and Brazil manager Tite have had on him as a player after the cat incident.

‘I talked with Ancelotti and he gave me a lot of advice to help me become a starter with Brazil,’ he admitted.
‘He gave me a lot of confidence. He was always tough with me when he needed to be. He is like a father to me.
‘He is good not only with the technical aspects of the game, but also with how he deals with his players.

‘I have been improving a lot and Ancelotti has helped me with that. He and Tite are very similar and they talk to each other a lot.’
The rising star is expected to feature when they take on Croatia on Friday, as they bid to reach the semi-finals of the major tournament in Qatar.
Vincius Jr managed to get himself on the scoresheet in their 4-1 victory over South Korea in the last-16 after featuring sparingly during the country’s three group-stages matches.
