Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s much-anticipated film ‘Brahmastra’ finally hit the big screens today, September 9. The high-octane action-adventure flick took almost 5 years to release and despite the boycott trend on Twitter the craze surrounding this Ayan Mukherji directorial is immense. Going by the box office trends, it seems ‘Brahmastra’ did manage to attract some decent amount of loyal audience who are all in for the extravaganza.

The advance bookings for the film have sprung quite a surprise and just like the rest of the country, in West Bengal also, the fan frenzy is indeed making the distributers excited about the film’s business and why not! A lot depends on the Ayan Mukherji-directed film. The box office numbers can either open new doors for Hindi Cinema or the road to come back will get tougher.
