Who needs the Cannes red carpet, when Karan rolled out his red carpet for a glitzy, glamorous and bling-tastic 50th birthday bash? Bollywood stars fished out their most sparkly outfits for the grand theme party that could put several other events to shame. While the boys suited up to perfection and experimented a little with their style, the ladies were in for the win with their stunning shimmery best ensembles. From classy, chic, raunchy and saucy, the ladies brought their A-game to the red carpet. We have our clear favourites, but question is, who was yours?

If you weren’t among the janta who absolutely despised Malaika’s outfits, then here’s what they had to say. The actress made a rather bold statement in a purple satin bralette that she paired with a neon green blazer and hot pink heels. The colour block ensemble had many saying, “Such a tacky outfit,” while another agreed, “Poor selection of clothes.” If you managed to scroll past the trolls, there were those who loved the ensemble and said, “Meko to achhi lag ri hai yaar.”

It was an ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ reunion at the bash, and no, we’re not just talking about the movie. KJo did what no other Bollywood star could — he got so many exes under one roof. Good thing there was ample space inside to prevent any awkward run-ins. Who would want that, right?

On the filmy front, Ranbir Kapoor has found himself taking off again to another film set… this time around it is Luv Ranjan’s next. The actor, who was shooting for the director’s film just a day before his wedding, will now fly out to Spain with co-star Shraddha Kapoor. The on-screen couple will shoot a song sequence and a few other scenes there and will be back in the bay before you know it.
