Bolly Buzz: Kapil Sharma reacts to rumours of his tiff with Akshay Kumar, ‘Writing With Fire’ gets nominated at Oscars 2022 – Times of India
Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are all set to treat fans with their upcoming action flick ‘BadeMiyan ChoteMiyan’. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is a follow-up to Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda’s 1998 movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on Christmas 2023.
Ahead of tonight’s big Oscars nomination announcement, South star Suriya’sfilm ‘Jai Bhim’ hit the top trends. While in an unfortunate turn of event, ‘Jai Bhim’ dropped out of the Oscars race and it was Indian documentary feature ‘Writing With fire’ that made it to the nominations for the Best Documentary Feature at 94th Academy Awards.
Coming just in time for Valentine’s week, was the ‘Mud Mud Ke’ teaser featuring Michele Morrone and Jacqueline Fernandez. The video stars ‘365 Days’ hunk going on the run with the Bollywood beauty.
Reports were rife of an alleged tiff between Akshay Kumar and Kapil Sharma after he dropped a clip Akki specifically asked him not to air. The segment in question is said to be a joke about Akki’s infamous interview with the PM. However, Sharma had other things to say in his statement that read, “I have just spoken to Paji n sorted all this, it was just a miss communication, all is well n very soon we arr meeting to shoot Bachhan Pandey episode. He is my big bro and can never be annoyed with me thank you.”
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday, who is ready for the release of her film ‘Gehraiyaan’ this Friday, is excited to team up with co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi again for Zoya Akhtar film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’. Spilling the beans about the upcoming film that will also star Adarsh Gourav, Ananya said that the cameras will start rolling in March or April. She described the flick as ‘an honest, relatable and funny film’ that will strike a chord with the audience.
