Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi’ gets a new release date after filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali postponed the release of the film from 6 January to 18 February 2022. This change has been made because SS Rajamouli, who also has Alia playing the lead in his film ‘RRR’, didn’t want the actress facing off against herself at the ticket window. “The decision by Mr Jayantilal Gada and Mr Sanjay Leela Bhansali to move the release date is well appreciated. Our heartfelt wishes to #GangubaiKathiawadi…” he tweeted.
