Bindu reveals that THIS gesture of Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of ‘Main Hoon Na’ moved her – Times of India

Bindu is largely remembered for her dancing skills and vamp roles in the 70s and 80s. But during the later stages of her career, she’s largely remembered for work like funny stint in ‘Main Hoon Na‘. This was Farah Khan‘s directorial debut which is still remembered over the years for its funny characters, some iconic dialogues, SRK’s role and of course, how gorgeous Sushmita Sen looked in the film.
Bindu who played a teacher in ‘Main Hoon Na’ recently recalled the time on the sets of the film. The veteran actress revealed that SRK was so respectful towards her that she was touched. She shared that they were shooting in Darjeeling for the film and everyone was standing since the set-up was being done. When Shah Rukh saw that Bindu is standing under the scorching sun, he ran towards her with a chair and requested her to sit. Bindu was quite moved with this gesture as he didn’t even call a spot boy, he instantly came with the chair himself.
Interestingly, Bindu was also a part of Salman’s debut film, ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’ and later she shared screen space with him in the iconic ‘Hum Aapke Hai Koun…!’ The actress said in this interview that Salman is also very sweet. He always greets her with immense respect and love!
The actress was last seen in the 2008 release ‘Mehbooba’ starring Ajay Devgn, Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt.
