Bhumika Chawla reveals she felt bad for not being invited to The Kapil Sharma Show: I had no idea when it was shot – Times of India

Just a few days prior to the release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman Khan along with Shehnaaz Gill, Pooja Hegde, Palak Tiwari, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill and Vinali Bhatnagar had gone to The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film. But Bhumika Chawla recently said that she had no idea when the episode was shot.
In a chat show, Bhumika played one of the key characters in the film. She was paired opposite Telugu superstar Venkatesh. She revealed that she got to know about the team promoting the film on The Kapil Sharma Show from someone else when she had stepped out with her pet dog.

Bhumika wants to believe that there must be some strategy behind it. However, she felt bad when she was not invited to be there with everyone else on the comedy show. “I felt bad for one second then I thought Venkatesh sir wasn’t there. We are a couple in the film. I did my calculation. Since he wasn’t called, what would I say alone? Those three couples were called, they are youngsters, their equation is different. So, I said ‘thik hai’,” she said.

She further added that if going to The Kapil Sharma Show can guarantee her a film, then the next day she will call Kapil Sharma and ask him to call her on the show. She said that she can do PR activities too only if she gets a film.

When she was further asked about not being engaged in film promotions as much as others, Bhumika said that the question can only be answered by Salman Khan’s production or PR team. “I have so much of an ego that I don’t go around people or even ask them,” she added.
