‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ Teaser: Kartik Aaryan says ‘beware Manjulika’ as he steps up as Rooh Baba in upcoming sequel – Times of India

The clip starts off with a spooky new rendition to the haunting track ‘Aami Je Tumar’ which also features in the original Akshay Kumar starrer. The 50-second clip not only gives fans a first look at Kartik getting ready to take on the paranormal but also gives us the first glimpse of the spooky new female entity.

Helmed by Anees Bazmee, the movie that also stars Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles, promises a high dose of entertainment for the audiences this summer.

A tale loaded with humour and horror is now set to hit theatres on 20th May 2022. The film that was originally set for a November 19, 2021 release, and later postponed to March 25.

However, it will now hit screens on May 20, thus setting up a clash with Kangana Ranaut’s action-drama ‘Dhaakad’.

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is a sequel to the 2007 horror-comedy, which was directed by Priyadarshan and starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in the lead.

Aaryan, who was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’, has a long list of films lined up for release, including ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’, ‘Shehzada’ among others.
