‘Bholaa’ box office collection collection day 6: The Ajay Devgn starrer holds well on Monday – Times of India

Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bholaa’ had released on the occasion of Ram Navmi, on March 30. The film had picked up over the weekend, especially on Sunday. However, ‘Bholaa’ had to also pass the Monday test and that would help to know if the film continues to prove to be a hit.
‘Bholaa’ had made around 12 crore on Sunday, while it continues to hold well on Monday as it collected 4.25 crore nett as per boxofficeindia.com. The collection has dropped by 35 percent from Friday. But Monday evening saw a boost in the collections as Tuesday was a holiday on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.

Ever since the film released, it had a better hold in mass pockets and even on Monday, its performance was the best in mass belts only. With a decent 4.25 crore on Monday, ‘Bholaa’ is now heading for a 44 crore plus and the trade expects it to touch the 55 crore mark by the end of the week. One expects that ‘Bholaa’ could have a lifetime collection of about 90 to 100 crore which can be considered good in terms of its cost. More so, because the film has a very limited youth audience going to watch it.
‘Bholaa’ also stars Tabu. Devgn has also helmed the film as a director and those who’ve seen it have appreciated his treatment to the film. The film is a Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil film ‘Kaithi’.
