With a month to go until her album is available for pre-order, the singer surprised fans by sharing her new track that doubles up as an anthem for all corporate working individuals. The song arrived online a tad earlier than expected amid some online leaks.
Within just hours of its release, the song took over social media trends because of its lyrics that have the singer crooning about quitting her 9-5 job to work on building a new foundation.
“I just fell in love, and I just quit my job/ I’m gonna find new drive, damn, they work me so damn hard/ Work by nine, then off past five/ And they work my nerves, that’s why I cannot sleep at night” Bey sings in the first verse.
Taking to Twitter, fans made the most of it and joked, “This is my sign to quit.”

One listen to the track was all it took for the internet to come up will all sorts of hilarious reactions. “if Beyoncé tells you to quit your job then you have to because it’s the LAW I don’t make the RULES,” wrote a fan.
