During tonight’s Super Bowl halftime show, Rihanna pulled out all the Bad Gal stops. Decked out in a fire-engine red boilersuit that showcased her growing baby bump, the pop icon dazzled the crowd (and over 100 million viewers!) with a medley of hits, including “Diamonds” and “Only Girl (In the World).” And naturally, as beauty’s resident disrupter, RiRi turned out unforgettable statements above the neck too, including a bold red lip and serpentine power ponytail.

The handiwork of longtime hairstylist Yusef Williams, Rihanna’s sleek, waist-grazing ponytail was punctuated by a clean center part, a set of ’90s wisps, and a cascade of plaits woven at the top and worn loose through the ends. A perennial favorite of Rih’s, a deep red pout led her makeup look, crafted by Fenty Beauty global makeup artist Priscilla Ono. Her bold lip moment was accented by a set of silver glitter wings and, of course, her signature Bad Gal glow, the latter of which she touched up mid-performance with a blot of her Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Instant Setting powder. Furthering the theme of her crimson look, Rihanna topped everything off with a glossy red manicure by nail artist Kimmie Kyees using CND’s Devil Red.
All in all, savage was the word. Would you expect anything less from RiRi?
