Barcelona teenager Ansu Fati reportedly had his house broken into while he watched Xavi’s first game in charge at the Nou Camp.
The 19-year-old, who is currently sidelined through injury, returned home on Saturday night to find his house in the town of Sant Cugat del Vallès in Catalonia had been burgled, according to La Vanguardia.
It has been detailed that some of Fati’s family were downstairs in the property during the break-in, which reportedly saw money, watches and expensive jewellery stolen.
La Vanguardia’s report explains that concern was raised by family members around 10pm when ‘noises’ were heard from upstairs, where assailants had allegedly gained access to the property.
A 112 call was then made by the concerned family but when police arrived they found no-one upstairs, leading to the belief that those who had entered had since fled.
Fati, 19, made a trip to the Mossos police station in Sant Cugat on Monday, as per La Vanguardia, as he detailed what had been taken during the robbery.

The 19-year-old is not alone as a Barcelona player who has had his home targeted by thieves in recent years.
Back in February 2018, Fati’s Brazilian team-mate Philippe Coutinho had his home broken into.
Coutinho lived in a villa in the region of Castelldefels was in Barcelona with his wife Aine and close friends.
Fati, who is out injured at present, reportedly went to the police station on Monday to detail what had been taken, which he is said to have told officers was money, watches and jewellery
Barcelona’s team were away in London to face Chelsea in the Champions League and while Coutinho was ineligible, he enjoyed downtime in Barcelona, only to return to find his property ransacked.
Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Samuel Umtiti and now-Wolves defender Nelson Semedo also saw their properties targeted in recent years.
Fati is recovering from an injury sustained in the 3-3 draw against Celta Vigo in LaLiga.
He was in the stands to see new boss Xavi get his first win as manager at the Nou Camp, in a 1-0 win over Espanyol, their Catalan rivals.
