Babil Khan wears gown to Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla event; Trolls say ‘ek aur Ranveer Singh’ – Times of India
The young hunk turned up to designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s star-studded event last night in what appeared to be a multi-coloured gown that he paired with a black jacket with sequin detailing. His bold fashion choice was enough to draw the paparazzi’s attention away from Uorfi Javed who arrived just before him.
Soon after his photos and videos went viral online, some lauded his bold fashion choice and others viciously trolled him.
“So bold of Babil to make this choice! love how our men r trying time be creative and not just wearing black coats,” a fan wrote on Instagram.
Several others trolled him saying, “Ranveer Singh will be very proud now.”
Another said, “Ek aur ranveer singh.”
Some other trolls even drew comparisons between his ensemble and that of Aamir Khan’s lehenga look in ‘PK’. One said, “He watched PK last night…” while another added, “PK wala Aamir ka lahenga.”
Amidst all the jibes, there were those who appreciated the actor for his humble and good nature. One commented, “Why judge only his outfit? Why not judge his kindness and best behaviour?”
“A good human being above all that speaks about his personality,” said another.
Meanwhile, media sensation Uorfi also spoke of Babil in her video but claimed that he broke her headgear. “I think he got jealous,” she quipped.
