In its fourth week, Avatar as added Rs 22 crore nett taking the overall total to Rs 361 crore nett, reports Box Office India. It can soon overtake the total collection of Avengers Endgame which was Rs 367 crore nett. The collections from the South circuits have come down due to a huge reduction in screen space with the several new big ticket releases, but healthy collections are coming from Mumbai and Delhi NCR, the report further stated.

Avatar also breaks the fourth week record of The Jungle Book which had collected Rs 17 crore nett in 2016. The collections of Avatar – The Way of Water till date are as follows.

Second Week – 98,94,00,000
Third Week – 55,75,00,000 apprx
Fourth Week – 22,00,00,000 apprx

Meanwhile, at the global box office, Avatar – The Way of Water clung to first place at the US box office, pulling in an estimated $45 million. The sequel has now led the box office for four weeks and has amassed earnings of $516.8 million and $1.19 billion internationally, making it the seventh-biggest movie in history.
