At 54, Here’s How Jennifer Aniston Is Embracing Her Grays
Jennifer Aniston is as famous for her hair as she is for her role as Rachel Green on the era-defining sitcom Friends. Her ’90s “Rachel” cut sparked a global obsession—and spawned a thousand copycats—and her golden mane later landed her contracts with major haircare brands. Such was the enduring interest that Aniston, like any good A-lister, eventually launched her own brand, Lolavie.
While showing off the latest product in the Lolavie line-up on Instagram over the weekend, Aniston, 54, also revealed the natural way she’s embracing her grays. Aniston appears to have taken a page out of the Sarah Jessica Parker playbook (a picture of the star sporting grey roots in her blonde curls went viral ahead of the premiere of And Just Like That), with silvery strands visible at the roots, mingling into that familiar beachy blonde shade in the most subtle—and flattering—way.
Of course, the gray hair movement has been bubbling over in Hollywood in recent years, with stars including Andie MacDowell making silver strands look more glamorous than ever. Hair aside, Aniston looks as glowy as ever in the clip. Of course, she reaps the benefits of an exceptional skin-care routine courtesy of facialists Melanie Simon and Joanna Czech. While Simon is celebrated for her use of nano and pico electrical currents (Simon’s ZIIP nanoncurrent face tool is a particular favorite), Czech is more focused on cleansing and facial massage. Add to that sheet masks by 111Skin, Jillian Dempsey’s 24-carat gold-plated BeautyWand, SPF, constant hydration, and plenty of sleep, and you have some insight into how the star is maintaining that enviable complexion well into her fifties.
