Pakistan captain Babar Azam lost his composure when a fan persistently attempted to take a selfie after the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 clash against India was canceled due to rain on Sunday. Known for his affable nature towards fans seeking selfies, Babar was visibly displeased as a man repeatedly tried to capture the perfect photograph while he made his way towards the dressing room at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

A video capturing the incident quickly went viral on Twitter, showcasing Babar walking towards the dressing room while the fan relentlessly pursued him for a selfie. In a moment of frustration, the 28-year-old turned towards the fan and expressed his annoyance before the individual eventually retreated.

Meanwhile, Babar faced a formidable challenge for the first time in the ongoing Asia Cup edition as India’s openers, Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma, launched a relentless assault on Pakistan’s esteemed bowling attack. The dynamic duo smashed brisk half-centuries and forged a commanding partnership of 121 runs for the first wicket.

However, the Men in Green managed to put a halt to the run-scoring spree by dismissing the well-established openers. While Virat Kohli adopted a cautious approach, KL Rahul showcased his aggressive intent by smashing two boundaries.
