Speaking to a news portal, Ashish said that after completing all the divorce procedures with Piloo, he met Rupali during one of his vlogging assignments. They started chatting and he discovered that she has also gone through her own share of pain.
Rupali lost her husband 5 years ago and she did not contemplate marriage again. As they chatted, they felt that there is a possibility that Rupali can look afresh at life and consider marrying again.

Ashish shared his feelings and said that he feels amazing to be someone who was also possibly looking at life in a slightly different way. Rupali is 50 while Ashish is 57. He said that everyone can be happy and his key line is to fulfill his responsibilities.
Talking about the pain that came with divorce from his first wife Rajoshi aka Piloo, Ashish said that they both have wonderful memories of an amazing marriage. He said that Piloo was not just his son’s mother but his friend and his wife.
He said that parting away from Rajoshi has caused a lot of pain and it has been very difficult for both of them. “But then you have a choice, do you want to deal with it or do you want to linger with it? Then life goes away,” he added.
