As Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ releases on OTT, fans react to some deleted scenes which are added to the digital version – Times of India

After its roaring success at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ has released on OTT today. The film has not only become the highest grossing Hindi movie ever, but fans have literally memorised many scenes from the film that they enjoyed thoroughly.
Interestingly, many scenes which didn’t make it to the theatrical version of ‘Pathaan’ have been added to th digital version. But fans are disappointed to see them on OTT and not the big screen. Some of these scenes include SRK’s character being tortured by the Russians and Khan’s entry scene to the JOCR office. A scene where Deepika’s character is being interrogated has also been deleted from the theatrical version.

One fan tweeted, “The extended version is (fire emoji). Those deleted scenes shouldn’t have been deleted in the first place. What a delight to watch PATHAAN again on the small screen.” Another user wrote, “This entry scene next level #SRK #Pathaan.”
A fan also tweeted, “That scene when Pathaan comes back to JOCR was bloody good. SRK ????
Don’t know why it was deleted. Also them working out a plan to infiltrate Jim’s lab. Would have added weight to the entire lab scene”

The audience is now disappointed that they didn’t get to see these scenes on the big-screen.

Meanwhile, post the massive success of ‘Pathaan’, SRK is currently shooting for Atlee’s ‘Jawan’. Reportedly, Sanjay Dutt has joined the shoot yesterday for some intense sequences. Dutt wil be seen in a brief but impactful appearance in the film. Reports also suggest that Deepika is going to reunite with Shah Rukh after ‘Pathaan’ and will be making a cameo in ‘Jawan’. The actress is touted to shoot with Khan on March 26 and 27.
