Aryan Khan’s bail order has been reserved for October 20 and he will continue to stay in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail till then. After testing negative for COVID-19, he was shifted to a regular barrack on Thursday. According to a report on India Today, Aryan Khan has been allotted ‘qaidi (prisoner) number’ is N956. The report further stated that Aryan Khan seems disturbed, tense and uncomfortable in jail. He has been eating jail food but is not liking it.

The report further stated that Shah Rukh Khan had sent a money order of Rs 4,500 to the Arthur Road jail authorities on October 11, for Aryan Khan’s canteen expenses. Jail officials are reportedly keeping a close watch on Aryan Khan and all the drugs case accused have been kept in a barrack separate from the other inmates for security reasons.

During Aryan Khan’s hearing in sessions court yesterday, senior advocate Amit Desai stated in court, “The fundamental argument is that there was a rave party. I was not found with anything. I cannot be held responsible. There is nothing on the phone about the messages about the rave party. This young man was overseas for a while. In those countries sometimes a lot of things are legitimate. I don’t know what kind of chats there are. I have not seen it. The possibility of conspiracy and speculation cannot hold me back in this case.” He concluded by saying, “Let him be a free man. Let strict conditions be imposed upon him. But this is a fit case for bail. Even if 37(2) I have satisfied requirements under that and there are no antecedents.”
