Arshad Warsi confirms teaming up with Akshay Kumar for Jolly LLB 3, to go on floors next year | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Given the way the media and entertainment industry is moving along post pandemic, sequels are the safest and surest way of moving ahead. However, there are only a few stories that lead to natural sequels and we recently learnt of one such franchise and that is Jolly LLB. The franchise already has had two movies under its belt, the first one with Arshad Warsi was a sleeper hit, and for the sequel, he was replaced with Akshay Kumar. Now, we are learning that Arshad will be coming back to the franchise along with Akshay Kumar to make the third installment. The story is built around a face-off between the two Jollys.
In an interview to an entertainment website, Arshad Warsi confirmed the development of the third part. He also said that Munna Bhai 3 is not happening; Sanjay Dutt , Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and he want to make it happen, but it is just not happening. However, Jolly LLB 3 is definitely on the anvil, and that the film should go on floors next year.
He also added that he hopes that one fine day, he will get a call from Rohit Shetty to tell him that they are shooting Golmaal 5 in Goa. With Jolly LLB 3, it will be the second time Akshay and Arshad are paired together, last time they came on board with Bachchhan Paandey, but the movie didn’t do well at the box office.
