Arsenal are reportedly gearing up to announce a new contract for Bukayo Saka ‘in the coming weeks’.
A graduate of the Arsenal youth academy, the 21-year-old has risen through the ranks to become an integral component of the Gunner’s squad this season, starting in 35 of their 36 Premier League matches while also returning an impressive 13 goals and 11 assists.
And it appears the club are set to reward him for his brilliant form, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the London side ‘will announce a new deal for the young winger in the next few weeks’ which has been ‘all done and agreed since February.’
The Journalist is also said that the ‘documents are ready’ and his new contract ‘will be valid until 2028’.
Since joining the club, Saka has been widely regarded as one of the most promising young English stars of his generation and has now also been named in the Premier League’s eight-man shortlist for the Young Player of the Season awards, alongside team-mates Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard.
