Ottawa Senators forward Alex DeBrincat says he is open to discussions about a long-term deal with the team.

Acquired in a major deal with the Blackhawks last summer, DeBrincat is a restricted free agent this summer and could return on a $9-million qualifying offer.
DeBrincat, 25, had 27 goals and 39 assists for 66 points in 82 games this season — 14 fewer goals and down 12 points from last year.
Meanwhile, defenceman Travis Hamonic told reporters at locker clean-out day on Friday that he hopes to return to the Senators. An unrestricted free agent this summer, Hamonic had six goals and 15 assists in 75 games this season, averaging 18:34 of ice per game.
Defenceman Nick Holden said the team has told him he won’t be invited back.
Holden had two goals and 14 assists in 65 games while playing on a one-year, $1.3-million deal.
Forward Austin Watson says “things would have to fall in place for him” for him to return to the Senators. The 31-year-old is looking for a multi-year deal.
Watson had nine goals and two assists in 75 games this season.
Montreal Canadiens
With their season over, the Canadiens have loaned defenceman Frederic Allard and forwards Lucas Condotta and Joël Teasdale to AHL Laval.
The Rocket are trying to nail down the final playoff spot in the North Division this weekend.
