Around the NHL: Maple Leafs’ Lafferty rejoins team, Gustafsson practises

Lafferty had been away from the team dealing with a personal matter, while Gustafsson missed the Maple Leafs’ final three regular season games with an upper-body injury.
Alter also reported that star college prospect Matthew Knies was spotted wearing a grey practice jersey Sunday which is typically worn by extras.
Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron missed his second straight practice Sunday as he continues to deal with an upper-body injury he suffered in Thursday’s clash with the Montreal Canadiens.

The Bruins open their Round 1 series with the Florida Panthers on Monday.
