The press conference in Arizona Cardinals training camp took a different turn Wednesday when receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown addressed his speeding arrest to the media for the first time.

Brown was traded to the Cardinals from the Ravens earlier this year and is in the middle of his first training camp with Arizona.

Earlier this month, Brown was arrested for allegedly going 126 miles an hour in a 65 mph zone.

Brown responded to questions asking if he had any messages from his teammates and responded by saying his actions were ‘very disappointing.’

‘I want to learn from it,’ Brown told reporters. ‘I’m not a guy who gets into trouble, so I want to put in my past and make sure I’m always doing the right things at all times.

‘I have a lot of kids that look up to me, so I want to set the right example at all times.’

The arrest occurred on the morning of a scheduled practice that Brown admitted he was not running late to.

However, his actions led to the arrest and he missed practice that day, leading to the Cardinals releasing a statement.

‘We are aware of the situation regarding Hollywood Brown and have reported it to the NFL office as required. We will comment further as appropriate,’ the statement read.

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury addressed the arrest the day after, saying, ‘Obviously he knows he’s got to be better than that and he will be moving forward.’

Brown and the Cardinals are playing his former team, the Baltimore Ravens, at home on Sunday August 21st.
