The 30-year-old is set to earn $19.45 million in base salary and carries a $30.75-million cap hit for the 2023 season.
He finished the season to lead the Cardinals in receiving with 717 receiving yards on 64 receptions, despite playing in only nine games due to a six-game suspension after testing positive PEDs. He also sat out the final two games of the season with a knee injury.
His three touchdowns were the lowest he recorded in a single season since his rookie year.

Hopkins has recorded 221 receptions, 2,696 yards, and 17 touchdowns over three seasons in Arizona, despite playing in only 19 of 34 games in the last two years.
Fans were already sent into a stir earlier this season when audio recorded by HBO’s Hard Knocks led many to believe that Patriots’ coach Bill Belichick was plotting a trade for Hopkins this offseason.
Several teams reportedly contacted the Cardinals about Hopkins’ availability prior to the league’s trade deadline, but the team was unwilling part with its star pass-catcher.
The search for both a new head coach and general manager following the respective departures of Kliff Kingsbury and Steve Keim have clearly changed the Cardinals trade stance it seems.
