Are Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt finally getting married this year? THIS celeb spills the beans – Times of India

The actress, who will soon be seen in ‘Bell Bottom’, got candid with Times Now and said that to her knowledge, the couple is set to take the plunge this year. “I believe that they are getting married this year,” she said when asked about the possibility of Ranbir and Alia walking down the aisle.

Lara also said that she is from the ‘older generation’ and admitted that she is not totally aware of which couples are currently dating. “I might say something about some couple and I wouldn’t even know if they are still together or not,” she said.

Ranbir and Alia have been going strong for over 4 years. The couple met on the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ in 2017 and have been together ever since. At a time when the two were hounded by marriage rumours, Ranbir confirmed that a wedding was on the cards, but said that they decided to wait, owing to the pandemic.

Last year, in an interview the actor even revealed that had it not been for the pandemic, he would have already been married to Alia.

Recently, Ranbir’s cousin Karisma Kapoor gave Ralia fans reason to smile with her reaction when probed about Alia already being a part of the Kapoor family. While Karisma named the actors in her family, co-judge Anurag Basu joked, “You can add Alia to that list now.” She smiled and mimed zipping her mouth.
