Aamir and Hirani, who have discussed various concepts in the past, seems to have finally found a subject that both of them like equally. When Aamir heard the idea, he instantly got excited, a report in Pinkvilla stated.
The report added that the filmmaker is currently busy with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dunki’ and will start working on the final script and other pre-production formalities after the release of the film with SRK.
Even though the discussion of Aamir and Hirani’s film is at a nascent stage, it reportedly seems promising.
If all goes as planned, Aamir and Hirani will be taking the film on the floors next year, a decade after their last release, ‘PK’ which was released in 2014.
Aamir was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. The film failed to impress the audience at the box office. Soon after the debacle of the film, Aamir announced his retirement from films and stated he will be producing films for a while.
Meanwhile, ‘Dunki’ also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in key roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 22, 2003.
