Arcadegeddon, Crash Bandicoot 4, and Man of Medan might come to PlayStation Plus for free in July – Times of India
Sony introduced its revamped subscription service for PlayStation users – PlayStation Plus – earlier this month. The company offered three titles — one for PS4 and two for PS5 and PS4 users – including God of War, Naruto to Baruto: Shinobi Striker and All-Star Brawl for free to PS Plus subscribers. Now, the slate for next month’s free games for the month of July has been tipped ahead of the announcement revealing what games can we expect from Sony’s subscription service next month.
French publication Dealabs has revealed the titles that Sony would be offering for free next month to the PS Plus subscribers. The PS Plus’ July slate might include Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Arcadegeddon and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan. The first two – Crash Bandicoot 4 and Arcadegeddon – would be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 while the Man of Medan would only be available for the older PS4.
It’s’ About Time is the latest game in the Crash Bandicoot franchise and was released back in September 2020. The game was initially published for PS4 and Xbox One by Activision but it later made it to the newer PS5, Xbox S, Xbox X and Nintendo Switch. The game is currently available for Rs 3,999 at PlayStation Store.
Arcadegagon is an arcade game from 2021 and is available for different platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox S, Xbox X and Windows PC. It is a multiplayer game, and as per the developers the game is “a mix of PVE and PVP experiences that allow for all different speeds of play.” Acradegagon retails for $19.99 (Rs 1,565) but the game is not available in India.
At last, Man of Medan was released back in August 2019, and it is the first game of The Dark Pictures Anthology series. It is a survival horror game available for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PCs. The game is available for Rs 1,299 in India.
We expect Sony to make an announcement about July’s catalogue on July 1. Meanwhile, God of War, Naruto to Baruto: Shinobi Striker and All-Star Brawl are available as a free download for PS Plus subscribers until July 4.
