Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom: Jason Momoa debuts new metallic stealth suit in first look posters – Times of India

Momoa, who began work on the ‘Aquaman’ sequel last month, took to his handle to drop the official new looks of his superhero character. In addition to the classic gold and green Aquaman costume, the star also posted the first look of his “stealth suit.”

The metallic suit features hints of dark blue, grey and black detailing. “Second round. New suit. More action,” Momoa captioned the post.

According to reports, this new look is a distinct turn away from the DC superhero comic books. This comes as a surprise as most of the other heroes in the DCEU including Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Superman, have stayed fairly true to the comic sketches.

‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ is set to take Arthur Curry to the titular Lost Kingdom, a part of the Atlantean Empire lost to time after the empire fell into ruin and went into seclusion underwater.

Directed by James Wan, the cast features Patrick Wilson, Amber Heard, Temuera Morrison, and Dolph Lundgren returning alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta.

‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ is set to premiere in theatres on December 16, 2022.
