Apple is gearing up for its first event of 2022 where the company will make several announcements like iOS 15.4, new MacBooks and more. Along with this, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also expected to announce the next-generation iPhone SE smartphone.
The iPhone SE is the affordable iPhone the company mainly launches to capture the market share in developing markets like India and also to lure Android customers towards iPhone.

Might run on Apple A15 Bionic chipset
Apple has always stayed one step ahead of the game by offering its flagship chipset even in its affordable iPhones. If you can recall, the last iPhone SE was launched in 2020 and it was powered by Apple A13 chipset, the same chip was powering the Apple iPhone 11 series as well.
Same design as the iPhone SE 2022
The upcoming iPhone SE is likely to carry the same design as the ongoing model. The smartphone will also carry the same glass sandwich design as before.
5G support
With the latest-generation chip in place, we can expect the iPhone SE 2022 to be the cheapest iPhone to come with 5G support.
To run iOS 15 out of the box
Apple is already known for providing software updates to its older smartphones for several years. And, in that case, we can expect that the iPhone SE 2022 will run iOS 15 out-of-the-box.
