Apple has announced iOS 16 for iPhone users which will make their iMessage experience better than even WhatsApp.

How is the Apple iMessage experience going to change with iOS 16?

With iOS 16, Apple has added a slew of new tools and functionalities to your iMessage app which lets you even edit- sent text! Not just that, you will be able to undo the sent messages just like that! Something that WhatsApp users still don’t have. At the moment, there is just talk about WhatsApp allowing users to use a new Undo button to retrieve the deleted text. For now, Apple doesn’t allow you to edit or unsend the already delivered messages in iMessage. But with the iOS 16 update, all that is possible! “Users can edit or recall recently sent messages, recover recently deleted messages, and mark conversations as unread so they can come back to them later,” Apple mentioned with the iOS 16 update. Not just this, but you will get the option to mark the messages unread so that you can take a look at them later. iPhone makers also added the SharePlay feature to Messages to make it possible to enjoy synced content like movies or songs and shared playback controls all while chatting in Messages with your friends.

Well, when the iOS 16 will reach your iPhones is not clear but according to the previous releases, it is expected to roll out alongside the launch of iPhone 14 in September.
