Apple Store gift cards can be purchased via Amazon in India. The iPhone maker is offering App Store gift cards in various denominations via the e-tailer’s site. The price of Apple Store gift cards starts at Rs 200 and goes up to Rs 5,000.
Using these gift cards, Apple device users can buy apps from the App Store, purchase games on Apple Arcade, and buy subscriptions to Apple Music and Apple TV+. They can also buy books including audiobooks from Apple Books. Users can also purchase services like iTunes Store or iCloud subscription with the Apple Store gift cards.
There seems to be no official announcement from Apple about the availability of gift cards in the country. But Apple has created a dedicated gift card page that states that the gift cards can be purchased via the Amazon India website.
Apple Store gift cards come in the denominations of Rs 20, Rs 500, Rs 1,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000. Apple’s gift card webpage states that gift cards purchased from Amazon India are valid only on purchases made in India. It warns that these gift cards are not redeemable for cash, for resale or for shipments outside of India, and no refunds or exchanges can be made (except as required by law).
The Cupertino-based company also states that if a user is approached to use the codes for any payment other than the purchase of Apple goods or services, it is likely that they could be the target of a scam. In such incidents, one must immediately report it to the local authorities.
