Aparshakti Khurana spills the beans about daughter Arzoie’s first Lohri celebration, says ‘I plan to give all my time to her’ – Times of India

Actor Aparshakti Khurana is among the new fathers of B-Town who is all excited for his daughter Arzoie’s first Lohri celebration. While the Khurrana family had plans to celebrate the festival back in their hometown, Chandigarh, however, they made a last-minute change and celebrated it in Mumbai, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Talking about little Arzoie’s first Lohri celebration, Aparshakti told Hindustan Times that although his daughter is too small to learn about the festival, he plans to spend the entire day with her. He went on to share how he would spend Lohri in his childhood days and added that he can’t wait for the little one to grow up and chant Til Sarhey Paap Sarhey Paapiyaan De Paap Jadhien infront of the holy fire, just like how his parents taught him.

The doting father is also ready to have his daughter’s share of ‘rewaris, phullas and the moongfali’ on this festive season, without thinking about his daily calorie count.

Aparshakti and Aakriti Ahuja welcomed their first baby girl on August 27. Summing up his fatherhood journey, he spoke about taking inspiration from his brother Ayushmann Khurrana and told BT, “Ayush bhaiyya is a great father, and I am definitely been inspired by him. The one thing that I have learnt from him is to give your children the freedom to be themselves. We have also been taking tips from Ayush bhaiyya and his wife, Tahira. One piece of advice that we really liked was to get as much sleep as you can before the baby comes because once that happens, you lose out on it (laughs!).”
