We began the week with Selena Gomez’s bowed bun and Hoyeon Jung’s beribboned braid at Sunday’s SAG Awards, and now those looks have been joined by Anya Taylor-Joy’s ribbon headband, donned for a front-row viewing of Dior’s fall 2022 show in Paris.
To complement the actress’s pin-straight peroxide blonde, hairstylist Gregory Russell layered her deep side part with a black ribbon, the thick strip affording the moment an additional dose of subtle glamour. Then, in classic Chanel fashion, the house’s Métiers d’Art collection came with a wealth of artfully placed black bows, while Giambattista Valli’s pre-fall presentation featured a more idiosyncratic take, black bows secured upside down at the crown and in great number throughout a given updo.
