Anushka’s million dollar reaction as Virat scores record seventh IPL ton| Watch
Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) batsman Virat Kohli hit a second successive century to steer Royal Challengers Bangalore to 197-5 against holders Gujarat Titans on Sunday and keep the team on track for the IPL play-offs. Sunday’s century was Virat Kohli’s seventh in the world’s most popular T20 tournament.
The former India captain hit an unbeaten 101 in the final group match with Bangalore needing a win to book their spot in the final four.
“A lot of people think that my T20 cricket is declining, I don’t feel like that at all. I think I am playing my best T20 cricket again,” said Kohli after an innings which featured 13 fours and a six.
“I’m just enjoying myself. This is how I play T20 cricket, I look to hit gaps, hit a lot of boundaries and then the big ones towards the end if the situation allows me to.
“You have to read situations and rise up to the occasion when the situation demands. I feel really good with my game at the moment and how I’m batting.”
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma was in Bengaluru to cheer for hubby Virat Kohli as RCB and was seen blowing kisses towards Virat Kohli after he break the record of maximum number of centuries in IPL which was held by Chris Gayle of West Indies.
Earlier, after Virat scored a century in the Royal Challengers Bangalore versus Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL match, he picked up the phone and video called Anushka from the field. Videos and photos of their interaction were circulated all over social media, as fans cheered for their favourite couple.
Virat Kohli, who made a match-winning 100 in Bangalore’s previous game, moved to second in this season’s IPL batting chart with 639 runs behind his skipper Faf du Plessis, who made 28 in a 67-run opening stand with the superstar cricketer.
