Anushka Sharma reveals she regrets not playing cricket in her childhood as she preps for ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ – Times of India
In her post, the actress talked about having one regret in life. She revealed that she regrets not playing cricket in her childhood. Sharing a sweaty selfie, Anushka wrote, “Kaash bachchan mein kuch toh cricket khela hota, toh aaj haalat aisi na hoti.” Have a look:
Meanwhile, Anushka has also been taking batting tips from her cricketer husband Virat Kohli. In an interview recently, she revealed that she keeps sending him her practicing videos to get his feedback.
Earlier, while announcing the film, Anushka wrote a long message explaining why it is special for her. A part of her note read, “It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice. Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”
‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ will be released on an OTT platform.
