What is your favourite meal to catch up with friends or bond with family? Usually, lunch or dinner is the most popular meal time when people head out to socialise. Recently, however, the idea of meeting people for breakfast has been quite a hit. Whether you grab fresh coffee or gorge on some pancakes, feast on some eggs or simply savour some crunchy toast; this plan of breakfast get-togethers has definitely got foodies’ attention. As it turns out, even Anushka Sharma decided to ditch the usual lunch or dinner plans and go on a breakfast date in England. Interestingly, the actress was enjoying her first meal of the day not with her husband Virat Kohli but with her parents! Take a look at the post she shared:

“Breakfast date with the parents,” wrote Anushka Sharma in the caption of her post. She shared four pictures from her yummy breakfast date in North Yorkshire, England where she seems to be training for her upcoming role as a cricketer. Anushka Sharma’s parents, Ajay Kumar and Ashima Sharma paid a visit to her in the city and she took them out on an amazing breakfast date.
The cosy restaurant had comforting interiors and an expansive menu. Pictures of dogs and cats adorned the walls at the undisclosed location. Anushka Sharma enjoyed a wonderful cup of black coffee as she is a huge coffee lover. Her parents seem to have had orange juice and kombucha tea, as was visible in the pictures. Almond croissant, sourdough bread and fruit bread were some of the other delights we could spot in Anushka Sharma’s breakfast date pictures.
Clearly, Anushka Sharma seems to be a breakfast person and this is not the first time we have seen her gorging in the morning. She often shares her morning indulgences for her fan following of 59.8 million on Instagram; be it coffee, cakes or croissants. Recently, she was in Paris, touted to be the home of the French croissant. She shared a picture of herself biting into the yummy treat, along with a customary cup of coffee. “When in Paris .. eat many croissants,” she wrote in her click. Take a look:

On the work front, Anushka Sharma donned the producer hat for the OTT film ‘Bulbbul’ as well as the hit series ‘Paatal Lok’. She will next be seen playing cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming film ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ that is slated to release on an OTT platform soon.
