Anurag Kashyap says, ‘Shah Rukh Khan itna haseen pehle kabhi nahi laga’ after watching ‘Pathaan’ – Times of India

‘Pathaan’ has finally hit the screens today and the wait of all the die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fans has come to an end. They’ve been waiting for over four years to see their favourite star on-screen. Explains why, the advance bookings of ‘Pathaan’ have been unprecedented. It has broken the record of KGF 2’s advance booking and stands just below ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’.
Apart from the audiences, several industry insiders were also waiting to see the film and wanted the film to do well as in order to bring a happy wave for Bollywood who’s not been doing very well last year at the box-office. Anurag Kashyap who’s largely known for his edgy movies, watched ‘Pathaan’ and was all praise for it. Kashyap reviewed the film after coming out of a theatre in Mumbai. He said, “Shah Rukh Khan itna haseen, itna sundar pehle kabhi laga nahi. Toh hum toh usko dekhne aaye the aur dil khush ho gaya. Aur itna khatarnaka action hai, Shah Rukh ke liye pehli baar aisa role hai. Mujhe nahi lagta unhone is tarah ka action pehle kiya hai.Kya body banayi hai (Shah Rukh Khan has never looked so good and we came to watch him. The action is also quite dangerous and this is the first time one sees Shah Rukh in such a role. I don’t think he has done anything like this before).

Raveena Tandon also saw the film and was all praise for it. She tweeted, “#Pathaan OMG! Blown away! Just fantastic! @iamsrk @deepikapadukone #johnabraham. Just fantastic! Thank you being the reason for the industry to celebrate again! @yrf #sidharthanand.”
Apart from the lead actors SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, fans are also loving Salman Khan’s cameo in the film.
