Anurag Kashyap regrets spending less time with daughter Aaliyah: I’m very scared of losing loved ones | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Anurag Kashyap recently opened up about his fear of losing loved ones and how much he regrets spending less time with his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap.
He told Film Companion that in the process of pursuing his ‘so-called passion’ of making one film after another he has left and ignored a lot of things behind. He realised that his daughter has suddenly grown up and when he sees her old pictures, he goes like, ‘Oh my God, I miss this.’
“I’m sitting with Aarti and Aaliyah’s friend Ida and Ida’s mom Preeti, and Imtiaz Ali.And they’re all talking, and they have these memories of this holiday and this and that. And I’m sitting there and I’m wondering, ‘Where was I?’ And I realise Imtiaz has spent more time with my daughter than I have. And then it eats you up inside. You don’t even know whether to apologise, because it’s too late to apologise,” he said.Aaliyah Kashyap got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Shane Gregoire earlier in May 2023. Last month, the couple hosted a grand party in Mumbai where several B-town celebs like Suhana Khan, Alay F, Agastya Nanda, Anurag Kashyap’s ex-wife Kalki Koechlin, Palak Tiwari, and Ibrahim Ali Khan among others marked their presence.
Aaliyah is a social media influencer who promotes different labels through her social media accounts and creates videos on her YouTube channel.
On the work front, Anurag will be next seen in Haddi opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It also stars Ila Arun, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Saurabh Sachdeva, Shridhar Dubey, Rajesh Kumar, Vipin Sharma, and Saharsh Shukla in supporting roles.
