Anupam Kher reveals the real story behind his iconic scene from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’: Never knew it will become the most used meme – Times of India

Anupam Kher shared a screenshot of his scene in which he is seen speaking to Ms. Briganza, Archana Puran Singh’s character in the film. The hilarious scene is often used in memes and funny posts.

Revealing the story behind it, Anupam wrote, “ When I shot for this scene in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it was supposed to be just a normal phone conversation between Mr Malhotra and Ms Briganza. But I improvised the scene in these various positions and falling off the bed etc. Everybody was cracking up on the sets and thought I was being crazy. Never knew that it will become the most used meme for almost every situation.” Have a look:

Soon after he shared the post, his fans were seen appreciating the scene. One of the fans wrote, “This is scene still epic sir.” Another fan wrote, “You were lit in the movie. Super fun.” Another comment read, “Aapki hasi sunai de rahi hai mujhe iss pic me.”

Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ also starred Rani Mukerji in an important role. The film was a hit affair and it still continues to be everyone’s favourite.
