Anu Aggarwal can’t wait to return to the big screen after 25 years; says it is people’s love that is making her come back to showbiz – Times of India

‘Aashiqui’ star Anu Aggarwal, who was last seen in ‘Return of Jewel Thief’ in 1996, is now all set to make a grand comeback into showbiz. The actress is currently looking for a good script.
In an interview with a news portal, Anu said that she will be signing after decades, so it has to be a great script. Until now, she wasn’t listening to narrations at all, but now she is. The actress added that she is also interacting with people in the business and an announcement will be made as soon as she locks the project.

Anu further added that it is the audience’s love that is making her come back into films. When an episode of a singing reality show chopped out her scenes, she received great support from her fans on social media. The actress said that after whatever happened in the show, she voiced her opinions on social media, and she asked people to forgive the makers.
Anu also revealed that she started getting long messages. It was very inspiring, and she realised people love her very much. She was so moved that she decided that she needed to make a comeback. According to her, over 80 percent of her followers on Instagram are youth who have seen her films on YouTube or OTT. Along with that, they connect with her ideology.

Anu also told the news portal that her journey has been very magical. After the accident and the new birth, she had a better understanding about life. Aashiqui’s tagline was ‘love makes life live’ and today, she is spreading love and teaching people about it.
