Anirban Lahiri shoots 70 at Las Vegas to make cut

Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri shot a 1-under 70 in the second round to make the cut comfortably at the Shriners Children’s Open here. The Indian ace is now 7-under and T-30, a fall from being T-10 after the first round. Lahiri found as many as 14 greens in regulation but did not get a closer look at birdie putts and missed some chances in the 10-15 feet range.

Amandeep lies 2nd, Vani 11th in LETAS event in France
India’s Amandeep Drall carded a fine 3-under 69 to move to the second place after the second round of the Terre Blanche Ladies Open. The Indian golfer was tied-5th after the first round with a 71. Vani Kapoor (77-68), who had a fine second round with a 4-under 68, rising to T-11 from the overnight T-52.

Sharma lands 2 eagles in Round 2, up to 3rd place
Indian golfer Shubhankar Sharma played one of his best rounds of the season to force his way into contention at the halfway stage of the Acciona Open de Espana. Sharma followed up his first-round 67 with a 7-under 64 that sparkled even more with two eagles, one on a par-5 and another on a par-4.
