Anil Kapoor requests Rishab Shetty to take him in his next film – Times of India

‘Kantara’, the action thriller film that hit the theatres in September 2022, has been receiving so much love and support which doesn’t seem to stop in the near future at least. ‘Kantara’ has changed the whole concept of pan-Indian releases. Written and directed by Rishab Shetty, ‘Kantara’ proved that ultimately content is the true king. The film, which was initially released as a Kannada film, went on to get dubbed and released in all major Indian languages. Post the massive success of ‘Kantara’, many popular stars of Indian cinema have kept on expressing their deep admiration and love for the film, and now Anil Kapoor is the latest to join the bandwagon in praising the film and Rishab Shetty.

Anil Kapoor expressed his love for ‘Kantara’ and appreciated actor-director Rishab Shetty. Anil Kapoor went on heaping praises on the pan-Indian blockbuster, and also expressed his desire to work with the talented filmmaker. In the enclave show, Rishab Shetty also revealed how he conducts month-long rehearsals for his films and cited this as a prime reason why he mostly casts newcomers in his films rather than going behind bigger stars.

Anil Kapoor was impressed by Rishab Shetty’s working process and expressed his wish to work with him and also stated that he worked in Mani Ratnam’s debut film ‘Pallavi Anu Pallavi’ also. Anil Kapoor was totally in awe of Rishab Shetty throughout the discussion and hilariously joked saying they should have been seated next to each other.

The movie, which features Rishab Shetty in a double role, features a stellar star cast including Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and others.
