‘I wanted to share with you what my life behind camp is really like,’ the Twitter post began. ‘I love to drink codeine and smoke weed all day long.

In the ring, Ruiz hasn’t fought since September 2022 when he beat Luis Ortiz via unanimous decision.
He’s been targeting a return and even made a mock poster of a fake fight agreement to take on Tyson Fury, forcing Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, to deny a fight had been agreed.
He asked for a rematch when losing to Joshua, but that never materislaised, thought he has logged back-to-back victories since.
Ruiz beat Chris Arreola on points before his victory over Ortiz, though it remains unclear who his next bout will be against.
