Ananya Panday: I would love to be cast in a women-led film with Sara and Janhvi – Times of India

The women in Bollywood are coming together for exciting muti-starrers. In recent times, Veere Di Wedding that had Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam K Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania in the lead started the trend. The industry was abuzz with excitement when Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa promised to bring together Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas for a road trip film. This was followed by Veere Di Wedding producer Rhea Kapoor announcing her next – The Crew – starring Kareena, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. While Ananya Panday has starred in multi-starrers and recently shared screen space with Deepika Padukone in Gehraiyaan, a multi-starrer led by women is definitely on her wish list. When asked who she would want to team up with for a film on these lines, she immediately said, “I think it would be a lot of fun if they cast Sara (Ali Khan), Janhvi (Kapoor) and me in a film because all our energies are so different. I love them as performers and they are my friends as well. I am sure people would love to watch us together on the big screen.”Currently, the actress is busy with a bunch of projects that she is excited about. She shared, “I have Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Dream Girl 2 coming up this year. So, yes, there’s a lot of fun stuff in store.”
