An emotional Sanjay Dutt remembers Nargis on Mother’s Day: ‘Thankful for having had you as my mother’ – Times of India
On Sunday, celebrating Mother’s Day, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt came up with the most emotional message paying tribute to his mother Nargis. The popular actor took to his Twitter handle to share a priceless picture with his parents Sunil Dutt and Nargis along with a heartwarming note. Sanjay revealed how he learned all about hard work, patience, humility, kindness, forgiveness and understanding from his mother.
“Ma, you taught me all about hard work, patience, humility, kindness, forgiveness, understanding… and how to have fun along the way. Thank you will never be enough but, I’m thankful for having had you as my mother

Nargis died of pancreatic cancer on May 3, 1981 at the age of 51 and it was only three days before Sanjay’s debut film Rocky hit the theatres. Known as one of the iconic actresses in the history of Indian cinema, Nargis’ filmography includes cult classics like ‘Barsaat’, ‘Raat Aur Din’, ‘Awaara’, ‘Shree 420’, ‘Mother India’ and ‘Raat Aur Din’ to name a few.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ which has shattered all the box office records in recent times. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 is a sequel to the Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1.
