Amruta Subhash, who is currently seen playing the role of a house help who gets caught in the act in her employer’s bedroom in Lust Stories 2, opened up about shooting her first sex scene with director Anurag Kashyap for Sacred Games 2.
In a conversation with Neena Gupta and Tillotama Shome, Amruta shared that Anurag was extremely sensitive while shooting for the scene.He asked her about her period dates and said let’s not schedule the scene for those dates. She said that it did not matter whether he was a man or a woman.
Amruta features in a segment in Lust Stories 2 directed by Konkona Sen Sharma in which Tillotama plays the role of her employer. Their segment is being called the best part of the new anthology. It explores female gaze and voyeurism.Sharing her thoughts on the existing stereotypes around women and their need for sexual and romantic pleasure, Konkona had eariler said, “Very often, the bodies that are allowed to feel the sexual/romantic pleasure are very limited because usually they have to be thin, fair, rich and young – that was the fourth factor. So usually only those kinds of bodies are allowed to desire and also there have been certain limitations in terms of how people from different economic backgrounds are portrayed.”
Lust Stories 2 is billed as a collection of films that shed light on relationships from the female lens of women, stringing them together thematically. It consists of four shorts, directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh.
