Abhishek Bachchan announced a new film on his birthday and revealed that he is going to spend the special shooting for the same. Titled ‘Ghoomer’ which film is directed by R Balki. As soon as Junior Bachchan shared the post, he received blessing from Amitabh Bachchan.

Big B commented, “Janamdin ki bahut sari badhai. Aur Ghoomer k liye bhi… Ab jhande gadna ka samaj a gaya hai. (Wish you a very happy birthday. And, congratulations for Ghoomer, now is the time for you to excel).” Shweta Bachchan and her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda commented on the post with heart emojis. Later, Navya had also shared a priceless throwback with her Mamu and penned, “Happy Birthday, here’s to being your date forever”. Esha Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bunty Walia and several others showered Abhishek Bachchan’s post with love.

Announcing ‘Ghoomer’ Abhishek Bachchan had shared, “Can’t ask for a better birthday present! Birthdays are best spent, working. Ghoomer, Now spinning!” This is Abhishek and R Balki’s second collaboration after ‘Paa’ (2009). The team of ‘Ghoomer’ is currently shooting in Mahabaleshwar. Apart from this entertainer, Abhishek Bachchan will also be seen in ‘Dasvi’ which is helmed by Tushar Jalota. This entertainer also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles. Junior Bachchan has also bought the Hindi remake rights of Tamil thriller ‘Oththa Seruppu Size 7’ and has reportedly started shooting for the same. However, Abhishek is yet to make an official announcement regarding the movie.
