Amitabh Bachchan is a proud father, showers praise on son Abhishek for winning a major sports honour – See post – Times of India

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan took to his IG handle recently to shower love on his son Abhishek, who won a major honour at a recent sports award. Sharing two pics of Abhishek with the trophy, one clicked at the event and one presumably at home, the Uunchai actor wrote, “YEEEAAAAHHHHHHH .. Abhishek ! my pride. FilmFare Best Actor – DASVI ..Jaipur Pink Panthers , which you own, wins Championship League in Kabaddi ..And .. now JPP wins the Virat Kohli Foundation Sports Honours trophy versus other league teams of Football and Cricket ! (clapping hands and flexed biceps emojis). 2022-2023 WHTCTW !!!”. Abhishek replied to his post, saying, “Thank you, Pa. Love you.”

Not only that, the 80-year-old also wrote about the feat in his blog. He said, “Watching the inspirational stories of the greats of the World, gives an afterthought of a want to follow, imitate, and conduct oneself in similar ..I watched one today .. and the desire to express what the celebrity did in the film, does impact the lesser mortals like me .. but endeavour shall be made and the will to complete its function we hope, shall prevail ..”

He added, “.. and as I do dwell on this in walks the Son with another Trophy .. his team Jaipur Pink Panthers wins the Sports Honours trophy, The Virat Kohli Foundation Sports Honours , from the many contenders – well rewarded , well deserved and a pride for the Father .. his team Jaipur Pink Panthers won the Kabaddi Championships and now this honour , received in competition with several other sports teams from Cricket and Football .. the Champ .. YEEEEAAAAHHHHHHH !!!”. The actor concluded by exclaiming, “SO SO SO PROUD!!”

Abhishek also took to his IG handle earlier today and wrote, “Such a proud moment for me. Humbling. Emotional. It’s been one of the most fulfilling journeys for me to be part of the Kabaddi family.”
